Chair/Co-opted Governor (01/06/21)

I am Flo Bell, I joined the Governing Body in May 2017 and became Chair of Governors in May 2022.  I have been involved with Cummersdale School since January 2014 when I started delivering Enjoy-a-Ball sessions to the children in Infants.  It was wonderful to support the children develop their movement and life skills until I finished being an Enjoy-a-Ball coach in September 2021.  I also visit school regularly to listen to the children in Years 3 and 4 read, it is great to see their skills and understanding develop over time.  Having previously worked as a children's occupational therapist and currently employed as a local authority health and wellbeing officer, I am passionate to ensure Cummersdale School delivers an education which will enable the children to achieve their potential and be able to maintain their wellbeing to support them in this endeavour.
