Mechanical Systems: Making Slingshot Cars!

During this fantastic and exciting week, the children transformed the humble lollipop stick , a few wheels and straws into awesome slingshot cars. We designed and made vehicles, first creating prototypes on PurpleMash, then using nets to place on top of the chassis. We also tried and tested a launch mechanism, investigating the right size and thickness of rubber band.
